Good dental health plays an important role in keeping your pet healthy. Periodontal disease can lead to bad breath (halitosis), sore gums and painful teeth, tooth root abscesses, oral and respiratory infections, endocarditis and even tetanus.
Malibu Veterinary Hospital offers a variety of pet dental services including ultrasonic and hand scaling, polishing, extractions and oral surgeries utilising state-of-the-art IM3 Dental Machine. We always use local anaesthetic injections and/or nerve blocks, as well as analgesic medications to ensure that your pet is maximally pain-free during any dental extraction/surgery and especially on recovery.
